We got the girls off to school this morning and after a hot scooter ride back home, we sat down with some lemonade. Cal wandered around moping for a minute and then went up to Mike and said, "Daaaaaaaaad? Where's Mia? Where's Mia, Dad? I miss Mia!" and slumped his shoulders as he moped to the couch to pout. He is surely going to miss his sisters being home with him. In a few weeks when I go back to work, it's just going to be he and Mike. For the first time ever, there will be "Boys Only" time in our home!
We went to Starbucks this morning and sat with our drinks and Noah's Bagels and enjoyed the quiet. That is seriously one of my favorite things to do. I just love the peacefulness that comes from those times.
