I was anxiously awaiting the early morning drive to the hospital to be induced and meet my little guy. I seriously can't believe it's been 3 years! I know moms say this all the time, but it's unbelievable. When I think back to that time 3 years ago, it seems like a lifetime ago, but when I think of where the last 3 years have gone, I just can't figure it out.
These last 3 years have been great. While the first 6 months of Calvin's life were quite rocky for me, the last 2.5 years have been great. Calvin is a lot of fun. He laughs constantly and is a complete motor mouth. Sometimes we have him call people just so our ears can have a break of listening! He is a riot. He is totally smart. And just 'cause I'm his mom, doesn't mean I'm the only one who thinks so. His grandparents know he is too! ;) He has been talking in sentences for what seems like ever. He totally keeps up with the girls in conversation and rarely needs translating. He has got a sense of wit just like his father! I love his sense of humor. He is constantly cracking us up! He has movie lines memorized like you wouldn't believe. He only has to watch a movie one time, and he's got all the one-liners locked in. (You'd be proud Rancadore!)
Cal loves Buzz Lightyear, Little Einsteins, Lightening McQueen from Cars, tractors, listening to books, watching movies, playing pbskids.org, racing on Mario Kart, tattoos, Anne's shells & cheese, warm milk, playing Polly Pockets with his sisters, snacking all day long, playing at the playground at Mommy's school, playing hide-n-seek, helping with the dishes, sleeping with his stuffed doggies and blankie, eating fruit bars, showering, building legos, playing Daddy's drums, and so much more. I'll add some more later...
I just love this little guy!

Grandma & Grandpa
A bittersweet day, for sure. They are growing like weeds and becoming more independent.
